What You Can Expect

Get picked up from your Cancun hotel at 7 am, then board an air-conditioned tour bus for a 2.5-hour drive through the scenic countryside of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Upon arrival at the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, participate in an extensive guided tour. Explore the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site's prominent features like El Castillo and the Temple of Warriors, then enjoy some free time for photographs or additional exploration.

Sit down to a buffet lunch of traditional Mexican fare before returning to the bus.

Your next stop is a cenote; an underground, freshwater swimming hole. Plunge into the cool, clear waters or just relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape before the comfortable drive back to Cancun.

​The tour concludes around 7 pm, when you are dropped back off at your hotel.

  • Children ages 3 years and under are free, but their seats are subject to availability. They may have to ride on their parents' laps if seats are not available
  • There is no charge to bring a camera into the ruins, but you must pay $50 pesos for video camera.
  • Bring walking shoes, hat, perhaps an extra shirt, sun block, swimming suit and towel.
  • Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
