What You Can Expect

Start the day with 7:30 am pickup at your hotel in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, then travel to the UNESCO listed site of Chichen Itza in an air-conditioned coach. You’ll pass through the colonial city of Valladolid along the way, then stop at a restaurant for a traditional buffet lunch and a jarana dance performance the lively dance and music are typical of the Yucatán Peninsula, and dancers perform in elaborate embroidered costumes.

Upon arrival in Chichen Itza, take a 90-minute guided tour of the ancient site with an INAH-certified guide. After the tour, you’ll have one hour of independent time to explore on your own, take photographs, or simply enjoy the unique atmosphere of the archaeological site.
